Kathryn Dalziel is a classical portrait and equestrian artist working in oil, pastel and charcoal. Inspired by nature, movement, and light, her work focuses on capturing the character, emotion, and presence of both people and horses. She trained at Bournemouth Arts Institute and Southampton Art College—earning two National Design Awards—and later undertook advanced classical portrait studies at the Charles Cecil Studio in Florence, mastering the traditional sight-size method of the old masters.
