I was born in Nottingham and come from a family of artists, but I became an analytical chemist when I left school. I have always drawn and painted as long as I can remember and I love colour.
I now live in Bournemouth with my husband and 2 dalmatians and I had my first exhibition and sales when I was 18.
At the moment I work mainly in oils and my work is quite detailed. For the last few years I have concentrated on painting groups of similar things, such as pottery, leaves and even drink cans!
