I am based in South Staffordshire & I usually paint the female form in oils. My work is diverse & inspired by Art Nouveau, Art Deco & the Pre Raphaelites.
I try not to be restricted by style & content, my inspirations I find come from the creative world around me, whether they are stained glass or present day graphic novels.
Last year, I produced a series of four images capturing the excitement of the London Summer Olympic Games.
My method is I usually do preliminary sketches & transfer that to the canvas before even picking up a brush
The subjects I usually paint are figurative & I tend to restrict my pallete to only a few select colours. The style & subject depends on what has inspired me at the time.
