What do birds talk about when they get together? I think the row of birds at the back are quite unimpressed by the striking Zebra Finch perched out front for all to see! His beautiful marks were painted in acrylics on to wood. Actually part of the wooden board was kept free of paint and used as a part of the image. I painted in a knot and some suitable marks that naturally go with birds before varnishing it. The varnished wood made a good compliment to the rich reddish brown of the plumage.
Giclee prints are made professionally using archival inks and paper. Different sizes are available. Price quoted is for a 35 x 35 cm and includes UK postage.
