Summer Storm is a painting of a row of brightly colored beach huts lined up along a sandy beach. The beach cabins are made of grey/ brown wood that is aging and peeling. Each has a door that is painted bright yellow, dark green, vivid red or blue. An approaching storm is portrayed with heavy clouds painted with a palette knife. The row of houses behind and the stretch of sandy beach add to the layered appearance of this artwork.
