I had taken some photographs of ceramic floor tiles and was looking for a way to use them in an artwork. Some beans that I had collected and dried were also begging to be turned into a painting. I realised that the colours were very simiilar so they ended up together in this piece! I arranged the shapes and colours to provide a strong composition and used various techniques to portray the smooth and rough textures of both the tiles and beans including glazing and scumbling.
Giclee prints are made professionally using archival inks and paper. Different sizes are available. Price quoted is for a 40 x 30 cm and includes UK postage.
