I have been painting on and off since childhood and am basically a self taught artist. In September 2006 I joined a local art group and when I retired in 2008 I began to paint on a regular basis.

Lived in Florence at the end of the sixties, where I studied History of Art from Byzantine period to present day (that was 1969). Being surrounded by such fabulous works of art and sculpture was amazing.

I attend art courses and workshops and joined the Benington Art Group, and Insight School of Art. I am a member of Marwell International Wildlife Artists Society, Hertfordshire Visual Arts, The SAA.

My paintings include English and South African wildlife; Urban & Rural landscapes of Mojacar and The Alhambra - Spain, Paris, Italy, Africa and Hertfordshire. I have also done a couple of paintings of Lewis Hamilton racing at the Italian Grand Prix, Monza in 2008.

I exhibit my paintings both locally and nationally  and have done commissions of my wildlife and domestic animal portraits.  My paintings and Pet Portraits can be seen on my websites the links are
