Dundee born artist John Stoa started his art career in 1992 after redundancy when the Government wound up the Scottish new towns where he worked in landscaping, forestry and leisure provision.John painted in oils, watercolour, pastels and now mainly with acrylic.Many subjects are painted but with specialisms in Scottish snow scenes, nudes and figures.John runs art classes and workshops and is a frequent demonstrator for art societies.SPRING WORKSHOPJohn will run a workshop painting the Scottish lochs,glens and mountains around Loch Earn in May, with information on his website.He has published over 30 limited edition prints, and thousands of christmas cards for corporate and charity use, and has images in many books.He exhibits from his studio and galleries throughout Scotland.His ever expanding website www.johnstoa.com shows his art as well as his students, gives information on classes, workshops and his large garden and allotment.
