A beautiful sunny day, ‘By The Pool’. This painting was inspired by the artwork of David Hockney but I also wanted to create a retro feel. My aim was to contrast the intense heat of the sun with the cool tones of the water.
This painting has been produced using artist grade oil paint on canvas. A coat of professional grade art varnish has been applied to optimise the colour and protect the painting from dust, UV light and other environmental factors. The painting is provided in a complimentary handmade wooden frame which is painted white and fitted with picture wire, ready to hang. The painting is signed on the front and will be shipped with the Certificate of Authenticity.
The painting measures 16 x 12 inches (40 x 30 cm).
