Jamie Forinton

I've always been into art, painting and drawing, but like most people never thought my work to be good enough to sell. Purely I paint mainly for relaxation and enjoyment.
I live in Lincolnshire with my wife Michelle (who is also an artist), 3 cats and 2 rabbits.
My art style is in the vein of LS Lowry and Helen Bradley, in other words matchstick figures. The scenes I depict are of nowhere in particular but of ordinary scenes such as market or a terraced street.
Also I draw in pencil real life places and animals.
For me, everyone has their own favourite style of art, be it pop-art, realism, cubist, modern, naive, folk, etc. We've all got our own individual tastes on what we like.
My paintings have a fun colourful style.
