I am a painter and art teacher based in Hertfordshire, inspired by nature, nostalgia and surface patterns of the past.
My artwork is semi-abstract, layered and vibrant with a decorative edge. I predominately work in acrylic and ink as they mix well with so many mediums. I like to experiment with varying textures and transparencies when painting, incorporating layers with paper collage and printing techniques. The tangle of nature lends itself to this approach and botanical imagery often features in my work.
