This painting is my homage to Marilyn Monroe, inspired by the now iconic studio photograph taken by Frank Powolny in 1953.
My focus was to revive Marilyn's essence in colour, transporting her from that classic, black-and-white portrait into the vibrant, Technicolor glory.
In this work, I breathe new life into her, infusing her image with energy, colour and timeless allure.
