Jack Yates produced most of his work in his studio in North London. He utilised many mediums and he avoided technology more complex than black & white photography/developing. Some mediums were favoured such as monotypes & collage. He also taught multiple classes for many years at the Camden Arts Centre in Arkwright Road, NW3.
He was Author of 3 books: Creating in collage figure painting in watercolour and Collage also multiple editions of Fragments Magazine.
