Having taught art all my working life I am now printmaking and painting. I am inspired by the English landscape and paint en plein air except when the winter winds are too cold and then I paint in my kitchen, elevating everyday objects to things of beauty! I’m fascinated by ageing industrial artefacts in the landscape - rusting sea defences, hinges and gates , objects that tell a story!
