Born in Shillingstone, near Blandford in Dorset, many of my earliest childhood memories were set in the beauty of the Dorset countryside and the Dorset Coast.
Self taught,I have been working in pen and watercolour for over ten years, and have been exploring the use of continuous line for over 8 years.?
Whilst currently working within self-imposed limits of line, watercolour, and a relatively small format, I am looking forward to experimenting with new styles, new media and at a larger scale.?
Married with three grown up children,we have lived in USA, Saudi Arabia and Turkey and my wife and I continue to travel extensively - taking the opportunity to absorb and paint the varied landscapes and people across different parts of the world. But every trip reinforces how special our Purbeck landscapes in Dorset really are.
