After studying at the West Sussex College of Art Glenn spent 25 years as a commercial artist and illustrator. In 2002 he directed his career towards his first love , fine art and specifically portraiture. Working in both Oils and Acrylics, Glenn?s work captures the spontaneity and freshness of his subjects.
Glenn won a Highly Commended award at the prestigious National Open Art Competition for his painting of Antonia.
Although happy to work from a sitting, Glenn usually works from photographs that are taken in a photo session which we arrange with you. He then structures these into a series of visuals as his initial composition.
Although the majority of his work consists of paintings of children and adults, he is also happy to undertake Pet Portraits and will also work with you to design more abstract pieces of work.
In addition, Glenn also offers a Mural service and has undertaken a number of interactive commissions for Sussex County Council, including works at the Pulborough Medical Centre and Southwater Country Park.
