I paint in oils, mostly still life and floral compositions, but I have in mind to challenge myself further to cityscapes and figurative paintings. My preferred technique is 'Alla Prima' inspired by modern American artists, particularly Richard Schmid, and an amazing Slovakian artist, Tibor Nagy. After spending eight years in the UK, I relocated to France and currently live in Paris. I exhibit my works in the UK and France, and on my website at anastasiagardinerart.com.
