I am primarily a landscape artist based in Penarth, South Wales, and my connection to the landscape has always been intrinsic, my aim is always to try and capture the essence of nature in its purest form whilst bringing a fluidity to the landscapes I paint. Whether painting with Watercolour or Oils my approach is always to try and paint on site or to gather enough reference for paintings back in the studio. Beyond just creating art, I am deeply passionate about imparting my knowledge and experience to others, my teaching style is both intuitive and engaging whilst above all makeing art accessible and enjoyable.
