Currently based in preston,now working exclusively in oils, his love of art was inspired when taken to see La pieta in Rome. Since then life intervened until 8 years ago. His painting re kindled under tuition of Norman long and then since 2022 with Christ mcloughlin he has exhibited more recently at the cltheroe contemporary art exhibition. He is inspired by a love of exploring tone. Particularly the works of Caravaggio and Edward hopper
