Many artists choose a particular medium to create their artwork. While others might prefer a different approach and many artists’ choice affects the expressive possibilities of the piece to the viewer. Throughout his lifetime, Peter Melonas built his name as an inker and still prefers the much-loved labor of the pen stroke and a use of dark and light for creating the illusion of depth on the flat surface of the paper and the following satisfaction upon completion.
His artwork demonstrates a particular pop art style and skill. Peter wants his artwork to produce a positive and unforgettable "first impression. In other words, He encourages each viewer to find out more about him and his work. He wants to give an audience the opportunity to step into a make-believe world for a few minutes.
