Born in London I worked as a surgeon in Greenwich and Woolwich. I started doodling and painting as I found that using my hands stopped the tics of Tourette syndrome which I have had for 60 years. Other hobbies include golf and Bridge. We moved to York 3 years ago to follow and help with the development of our 3 grandchildren - offspring of two doctors!!My paintings do not have a particular style but I prefer impressionism to representational work. My wife is my most severe and helpful critic. I give my pictures to any friend or relation who asks but am prepared to sell to anyone. I have pictures on walls in France and USA as well as in this country.
