I was born and work in Oxford and started painting in 2021. I primarily use gouache and acrylics to create landscapes, portraits, and animals. Additionally, I draw and paint portraits of children, adults, and animals. Recently, I have begun experimenting with abstract themes and plan to develop this further.
My work explores human relationships and the natural world, focusing on the interconnectedness of life. Each painting uses colour and form to convey a narrative. Colour is a fundamental aspect of my paintings, both a visual and emotional language. I draw inspiration from nature, music, people and places, their connections, interactions and harmony.
My paintings are typically colourful and sometimes reference to artists I admire. Can you spot any and guess the artist! I am still developing my style and am excited to try new projects. From 2021-2024 I was commissioned to create a baby portrait (b&w), a book cover on the Aix music festival in France and portraits of pets and houses.
I am a member of Oxfordshire Artweeks www.artweeks.org and exhibited for the first time in May 2024. I am also a member of West Oxfordshire Arts (WOA) www.westoxarts.com.
Exhibitions of my works take place in various locations around Oxfordshire, including Oxford, Summertown, Headington, and WOA Gallery Bampton. I exhibit regularly at the WOA Gallery in Bampton, Oxfordshire.
I offer original paintings, high-quality prints, and greeting cards for sale. Commissions are also available.
