I am from the small island of Malta, Europe. Always loved to draw and paint and have taken part in many collective local exhibitions. I am a self taught watercolourist. As mediums I like using acrylics, ink and pastels but my passion is watercolour. Occasionaly use acrylics or pastel with watercolour when i want to get more texture, but prefer pure watercolour. My inspiration comes mostly from the outdoors. Love the texture of the local stone, our country farmhouses and countryside, and also our colourfull fishing boats and villages. What attracts me to a subject is mostly light and shade and its easy to see this in Malta as the sun is nearly always available.
