My art is all about simplicity, texture and colour. I enjoy thinking up scenarios and placing characters within a painting. By working organically, what invariably ?looks right? often seems to occur quite randomly - which is lovely if not a little peculiar.
Colour is currently my favourite ingredient. I take inspiration from the things around me that I love; such as the birds in my garden, or sheep in the fields beyond. My ultimate goal is to make a canvas appear simple without losing the essence of the subject.
