I am a UK based emerging artist, recently graduated from universty with a degree in Illustration.
As a little girl, I was always very curious about art and enjoyed drawing and painting like every child would, but I never thought I would pursue it as at that age, I saw it as only a hobby. However, it was not until I was ten years old when I received my very first professional watercolour painting set as a Christmas present from my grandfather, that I began to see it as not just a hobby, but a fun and rewarding career.
When I am working, I use a range of techniques, working with both watercolour and acrylic. Using these mediums I specialise in a range of categories, including botanicals, animals, floral, landscapes and wedding bouquets. Having studied illustration at university, I still continue to experiment with my newly developed skills and work to add a visual essence to the vibrant colours of my art, suitable for all ages.
My inspiration comes from nature, animals, photography, everyday life, special occasions, mythology and history.
Influences include Georgia O'Keeffe, Claude Monet, Walter Crane, Hannah McVicar, Andy Warhol and Henri Matisse
