As far back as I can remember I've been drawing or painting on something, be it walls, pavements or paper. I've always had a deep love for art and most things creative. I come from a very musically creative family so I guess someone had to be the artist. I'm self thought and want to keep it that way as I love the adventure of figuring things out and think that you develop more of your own style that way. I've only recently started to paint in oils and I think I've found my medium. The workability and long drying time really lend to my style(s) and who doesn't love the smell of oils in the morning! Picasso once said "All children are artists. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up\"". I think fulfilling this statement is the key to being a happy artist/person."
