Having made art since childhood, my artwork emerges from imagination and observation. It has been influenced by my art studies and my travels in America, Canada, Europe, Africa and Asia. I have been taking commissions and exhibiting for over 30 years and I particularly enjoy fantasy art, illustration (magazines, books...), portraiture (people and animals) and wildlife art. The media I tend to mostly use include: paint (watercolours acrylics, oils), pencils, inks, pastels, mixed media, clay, photography and, more recently, I am exploring bronze. I am also a practising Art Psychotherapist and am involved in lecturing and research.
