Carolyn King trained in London in Fine Art and also has a Masters in Public Art, which she sometimes uses to enhance her take on life. This provides a balance to her illustration and story telling.
Originally from Cheshire and now living in Wessex with her artist partner, her formative years were spent in Cornwall and Paris with sea, town and country inspiring her whimsical and timeless paintings and prints of the ‘human’ condition’ which she continues to exhibit. Her daughter Suzanne and her family provide an endless source of subjet matter!
More recently Carolyn has been recording the rulal idyll of hidden France and 'tales' from the past working in the traditional mediums of Egg and Oil Tempera (with a twist!)
