Neo-surrealist, Caroline, has been obsessed with drawing from childhood, developing a unique style through constant practice and inspiration from her vivid imagination.

Keenly supported by her creative father who died when she was 17, a practical mother and a need for financial support resulted in turning her back on an artistic career following Art College in Norfolk. After a brief foray into punk music she moved to Bristol, then London to work. She was inevitably drawn to take further art training there and in France confirming what was vital to fulfil her life.

Caroline’s work invites you on a journey with her distinctive imagination, giving you permission to consider the implausible. Inspired by the landscape and human consciousness, her work echoes experiences, motivating her distinctive thought processes into creating unique images. Using oil, watercolour, pen and pencil, the results are a spontaneous variety of pieces.

She is commissioned, sells through galleries and exhibitions internationally. She ran her local Art Café for 11 years and Frome Art Trail for 7 years, and often curates exhibitions. In 2021 she was included in the VAA International Online Exhibition Curators Choice Awards and was a finalist in the 2022 VAA Professional Artist Awards.
