With my art I enjoy exploring as much as possible, with the use of acrylics, soft pastels, watercolours, charcoal, and printing, using different tools, many homemade. There are no boundaries, just the enjoyment of making exciting discoveries.
I love old worn and weathered Portuguese doors and windows, which are fast disappearing! I can explore and recreate them with watercolour and pastels, whilst thinking of the past lives they have seen.
As with many artists my work is constantly evolving, from seas to imaginary landscapes and my love of abstraction using simple colours with strong monotone undercurrents.
