This is the first picture completed following my stroke in May 2013. When I left hospital I was paralysed down my right side (I am right handed) and feared I may never paint again. Painting a straight line is still a bit of a challenge but I manage,albeit slowly. I have donated this picture to Ward 312 of the Royal Derby Hospital in gratitude for all the kindness and help shown to me there.
