This framed acrylic on canvas depicts the semi derelict Aqueduct Cottage, that stands at the junction of the Cromford Canal and Nightingale Branch in Derbyshire. It represents the state of the cottage in the 1980s - both it and the canal are in a sorrier state today, 'ripe for restoration' as the estate agents say.
