The buttercups and May blossom are looking good just now, and the glorious late May weather has brought the hot air balloonists into action. This acrylic on canvas shows a balloon drifting through the morning mist above Dalley Farm, Belper, with the Chevin, reputedly the first foothill of the Pennines, behind it.
