At a very early age Slavica started expressing her prominent artistic talent through painting. As well as exhibiting at numerous children’s exhibitions in Skopje, already at the age of fourteen Slavica succeeded to exhibit at an international exhibition in Bradford, UK.
She graduated Fashion and Textile Design in 1982 in Zagreb, Croatia. She has organised numerous fashion shows and exhibitions throughout Croatia, many of which received awards.
In addition Slavica was awarded a Golden Plaque by the Society of Fine Artists of Macedonia in 1990 for outstanding fashion creation. She has also received many other prizes at various Fashion Fairs.
At one art exhibition, the greatest Croatian museologist and art collector Professor Antun Bauer commented on Slavica’s work “Irrefutable unique art expression, which is so well-rounded that there is no comparison neither in our nor in any other fine art”.
Today Slavica works in her own atelier: paints on paper, canvas, glass and ceramics, designs fashion items including attire and jewellery.
