Ann Spicer

I am now in my eighties and have loved art since my childhood. I started painting more regularly around 20 years ago and I became involved with the Henley Guild of Art and Crafts Guild, which has around 200 members from this part of the world. I resigned from Chair of the Guild last year and hopefully now I can do a bit more art!

My media preferences have ranged during this time from watercolour, pastels, pen and ink and oils. Nowadays I do mostly acrylic painting and as we are lucky enough to have an lovely gallery in Henley, manage to get some exhibited once or twice a year. I attend a few art workshops the Guild organise throughout the year which is a great way to meet other artists and compare styles and media and I certainly hope to be painting well into my nineties.
