Recognising and contemplating the beauty in flowers is something that people have always enjoyed. With my realistic style of painting I aim to reflect the true beauty of nature. I'm completely self-taught. I always enjoyed painting as a child and at school, but it was only when I discovered botanical painting in my spare time in 2006, that I found my passion. Less than 18 months later, in June 2007, I was awarded an RHS Gold Medal and Best Botanical Artist In Show. I now regularly exhibit at the Chelsea flower show and I provide online tuition as well as watercolour workshops.
