Anina is a born and bred Cape Townian. She obtained a Degree in Graphic Design at the University of Stellenbosch in 1995. She worked in the fashion and interior industry both internationally and locally.
She has been a finalist in The StateoftheART Awards compition (2018), The Sasol New Signature Competition (Top 100) (2015)The Sanlam Portrait Award(Top 100)(2017) and Art@Africa in Association with Julie Miller Contemporary Art Womxn Competion (Top 100)(2020)
Her works are in enjoyed by collectors in South Afica and internationally
Anina has found her niche in large and small scale portrait and figuaritive studies which she approaches with meticulous attention to detail.
She draws her inspiration from ' the stuff of life', womanhood and the different facets of that identity.
