I am an equine artist specialising in producing realistic equine art and portraiture in graphite pencil. My artistic style involves re-creating intricate details, from tiny hairs and whiskers, to wrinkles and creases, in order to produce art that captures the spirit and personality of the Horse. My ambition in art is to one day produce photo-realistic drawings.I produce original art which is occasionally for sale, and I am also happy to undertake commissioned portraits. I take pride in creating portraits for my clients that are of a true likeness, and that will become treasured possessions.I have had a love of all things equestrian from a very young age, and for as long as I can remember, have always drawn and painted horses. Horses are a huge part of my life, and much of my spare time is spent with my own horses. With the exception of tuition at GCSE and A-level, I am a self-taught artist, and began formally accepting equine portrait commissions at the end of 2009. I am also a Friend of the Society of Equestrian Artists, and as of 2012, I hope to begin exhibiting some of my original art.
