Vladlena Miroyan is a Ukrainian-born watercolour artist based in London whose work balances architectural precision with expressive freedom. After moving to the United Kingdom in 2000 to pursue a career in architecture and engineering, she worked in the construction industry and property development before returning fully to her lifelong passion for art.
Working primarily in watercolour, a medium she values for its fluidity and luminosity, Vladlena captures the quiet poetry of everyday life. Her subjects range from urban scenes and travel impressions to expressive florals, wildlife, through which she conveys emotion using light, colour, and delicate washes. An avid traveller, she sketches en plein air and later develops these impressions into contemplative studio paintings.
Her recent exhibitions include the London Urban Sketches Exhibition (2025) and the TALP Open Art Competition 2025, with upcoming international shows in Fabriano, Italy, and at International Watercolour Masters 2026 in Shropshire.
