Teresa Montalvao

I live in Somerset, but I come from Lisbon, where I had my Bacharel in Scenography and Fine Arts studies.
My commissions included, set design and costumes for theatre, props for films, murals and illustrations... all possible!

As independent artist, I have preference for the human figure, portraiture, with drawing and painting, besides an enthusiasm about illustrations and the comics style.

I like the immediacy of the acrylic, the transparency of watercolours, the character of pastels, the deep sense of color in oil... and I am fascinated by the potential of digital platforms.
