Sue Massey

Hi my name is Sue Massey. I specialize in miniatures depicting animals,  pets, wildlife,birds, any fur or feather. I have never been to art school or college, my ability to paint is a very special gift, reflecting the affinity I have with all animals, birds and nature. I illustrate books, paint greetings cards, the main body of my work being pet portraits,especially handpainted agate slices and jewellry, from 18mmx 10mm,my attention to detail is paramount, I carry a jewellers magnifying glass at my exhibitions so people can see the minute detail for themselves. I work from photographs for my pet subjects and have even painted a greyhound from a photo sent to my steam powered mobile phone which kept fading back to screensaver, as it was the only photo my customer had. I live in Rotherham with my four rescue dogs and my four rescue horses.I also am a Reiki therapist and aromatherapist, I am an animal communicator for pet problems, lost pets, and those no longer with us. I also read Tarot cards, readings available over the telephone as I like  to speak to my subject in order to create a strong connection, very effective when the distance is too great for someone to travel to me, my Mythic Tarot cards are never wrong.         I hope you enjoy looking at my paintings as much as I have enjoyed painting them, and hopefully will commission a painting from me or become a loving new owner of one.
