Sophie Parkhill

Sophie Parkhill is a professional wildlife artist based in North Wales, specialising in realistic pastel and acrylic paintings that combine meticulous detail with vibrant colour. Working under the name SP Wildlife Art, her work celebrates the beauty, character and individuality of wildlife while supporting conservation through charitable donations from original painting sales.

Largely self-taught, Sophie has developed an international collector base and has received numerous national and international awards. Her achievements include Best in Show at The Wildlife Art Society International (TWASI) in 2026, Best in Show with the Association of Animal Artists (AAA) in 2022, 2023 and 2025, and the Association's inaugural Chairman's Award in 2023. Receiving the Chairman's Award inspired her to join the AAA committee to give back to the organisation that helped shape her artistic career, where she now serves as Secretary.

Her work has been featured in *Pastel Journal*, *Paint Magazine*, *Art + Framing Today*, the *IAPS Globe*, *SAA Paint Magazine*, and will soon appear in *Artists & Illustrators*.

Whether painting British wildlife, endangered species or cherished pets, Sophie strives to create artwork that forms a lasting emotional connection while celebrating the remarkable beauty of our planets animals.
