Ken Funnell

After retiring from a long career in the aerospace industry I have been able to return to my long held love of art.
In the last six years I have devoted more time to my hobby and have moved into acrylics which I really enjoy using. I will paint most subjects but I find that my most successful work is always that which I have been strongly inspired to create, and will usually have a narrative attached to it.
One of my original paintings hangs in the headquarters of the Royal Aeronautical Society in London and copies are exhibited in the FAST Museum in Farnborough and in Dayton, Ohio in the USA, I have also sold a number of limited edition copies of this.
I've held several joint exhibitions where I have sold work and received commissions and I am currently chairman of a local art group.
