I began painting murals and trompe d’oeil after a career in Interior Design, it was in the 90’s at a time when having your walls decorated with illusions and scenery was fashionable, eventually I graduated into studio work, mostly taking on commissions to paint pastel portraits of children and dogs. My first one man show was in Tower Bridge after painting all of the road bridges on the river Thames. I have worked in many genres over the years, especially printmaking, but more recently I have begun painting outdoors with the Surrey Hills plein-air painters, which has brought me a both satisfaction and the pleasure of painting within a group, I have been dedicated come rain showers or sunshine! I am a member of the Society of Fulham Artists and Potters where I usually show my work in their summer and winter shows, I also exhibit with Etsy and Saatchi Art. I have been published in a number of books and illustrated The Benjamin Franklyn Cookbook by Hilaire Dubourcq
