I drew my inspiration for this painting from a train trip I took many years ago from historic Florence to Pisa in the beautiful surroundings of Tuscany.
It is highly textured with impasto and the use of palette knives to achieve this hopefully dramatic effect.
I hope you like the splash of vibrant red poppies in the foreground contrasting with natural tones...
