I have been creating paintings since I was a kid. First in tempera paints, than oils, and after many years acrylics.
I took up painting in egg tempera in the early 1980’s and prefer that as my medium of choice.
I’ve moved from my American roots to England where I live with my British wife Crisie.
My main interest has been rural landscapes and old buildings with a farming or historical link.
I had embarked on a project involving my work plus other artists with different disciplines entitled "Abandoned Rural America" in the 2010’s. Preparing and developing a series of exhibitions in the United States was to create an artistic and educational experience representing the transition of the small American family farm.
Now that I’ve settled in England, I am looking forward to developing paintings reflecting the British countryside in egg tempera.
