I am a retired primary and special needs teacher returning to art after a 40 year break . I am self taught apart from three years of dabbling in various mediums as part of my teacher training . Watercolour has become my passion ,though I'm happy mark making with any media . I exhibit in many juried exhibitions including The Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour, The Royal Society of Marine Artists , The Sunday Times Watercolour Competition, The Society of Women Artists and The Artist Magazine Open exhibition ,winning several awards and gaining recognition. I have several step by step demonstration articles published on tutoring websites and am enjoying exploring and learning new skills within this wonderfully versatile medium.
