My interest in art started at an early age, at school the teachers always called upon me to help them with the art and design, ie. Christmas concerts, plays etc.
When I left school in 1979 I enrolled in the Grimsby College of Art and Design. My favourite artists are Van Gogh, Degas, Monet and Renoir. It’s their use of colour and bold strokes to create their work that impressed and influenced me at such an early age.
From my art, I have developed a souvenir range comprising of Greeting cards, Prints, Fridge Magnets, Coasters, Keyrings, Bookmarks, Christmas cards, Advent Calendars and a yearly Calendar. My work is currently for sale in the Fishing Heritage Centre in Grimsby, Pennells Garden Centre, Cleethorpes, St. James Church, Louth, Pennells Garden Centre, Newark Road, South Hykeham, Lincoln and The Little Red Gallery, 8 Bailgate, Lincoln, The Lincoln Minster Shop and The Lincoln Visitation Centre, Castle Hill
