A day in Henley on Thames, I visited in November. The reference photos were made on a grey day.
Being invited to exhibit with the Royal Henley Regattas, I created this painting as a beautiful Summer day.
My son was rowing for Folkestone and so I added their crew.
The painting is in the family.
