I was born in Liverpool in 1966 and after enjoying city life for a number of years moved to the Cheshire countryside in 2002 to raise my family. I am a self taught artist although have always loved art in many different forms, have only recently picked up my paintbrush in the last couple of years.
I enjoy the freedom of painting mainly abstract works on a larger scale and am experimenting with a variety of different mediums and materials. The inspiration for my work is mainly through the exploration of texture and colour and expressed in acrylic paint.
I have participated in local exhibitions in Congleton and Crewe in 2009 and will be taking part in further local events.
